A Detailed Look Into Our Water

Using the most advanced water purification technology, we produce the highest quality water available in Santa Cruz County.

Stage 1 The water entering the plant is passed through a 30 micron prefilter which removed the rust, silt, sand and other heavy sediment.

Stage 2

The water is treated with an ion exchanger to condition the water by neutralizing the hard mineral salts.
Stage 3 Here the water is passed through a 2 cubic foot back washing carbon filter. This filter absorbs and traps organic matter, chemicals and chlorine. The surface area of the carbon is equivalent to 12 acres of land, allowing for long contact time.
Stage 4 A 5-micron sediment filter is used to remove any carbon particles and find particulate matter.
Stage 5 At the heart of the system, the water is forced through 4 foot reverse osmosis membranes at 200 psi that allows the water molecules to pass through one at a time, while diverting contaminants aside.
Stage 5 After entering the storage tank the water is ozonated 24 hours 7 days a week by adding bacteria free oxygen.
Stage 7 A 5 micron sediment filter polishes the water.
Stage 8 The final stage passes the water through a state-of-the-art ultra violet light which ensures bacteria free water.
